Rendezvous Retreats

Surrounded by the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, on the south shore of Lake Superior, find a charming north woods escape in historic Bayfield, WI.  Orchard’s Edge Quilting and A Common Thread Designs, in conjunction with the Bayfield Quilt Company, offer customized retreat packages for groups or individuals.  Retreat fees decrease per person with larger groups! Retreats may be planned around a new pattern (or patterns) from our class catalog, finishing an existing project, or a combination of both. 

All retreats will be held at Orchard’s Edge Quilting, or the Bayfield Inn. Classroom facilities include cutting and pressing stations, and spacious work areas, and long-arm quilting demonstrations and services. 

Retreats include the following: 

  • Breakfast and lunch daily
  • Bonus gift basket
  • Discounts on fabric requirements from the Bayfield Quilt Company
  • Private pajama party sale at the Bayfield Quilt Company (2 and 3 day retreats only)

$50/Night for Single Occupancy
$20 for each additional person in room.

North Room - Queen Size Bed Sleeps 2

Parlor Room - Queen Size Bed Sleeps 2, Can fit in Cot for 3rd.

Wicker Room - Queen Size Bed Sleeps 2, Can fit in Cot for 3rd.

Solarium Room - Queen Size Bed Sleeps 2, Futon Couch (Innerspring Mattress) Sleeps 2 More, Futon Chair (Innerspring Mattress) for 1 more.

All rooms have private baths with double whirlpool tubs and hand-held showers. Wicker and Solarium rooms have fireplaces.
