Star Gazing

We invite you to join us for "Star Gazing."

This three hour class will teach you the techniques needed to piece accurate 3", 6", and 9" nine patch stars.
The kit costs $5.00
The class is one session; you may choose from on of the following dates;

Thursday July 3rd
Tuesday July 8th
Thursday July 17th
Tuesday July 22nd

Class times are 12pm—3pm.

Quilter's Season Pass

Join us each Tuesday and Thursday this summer from June 24th thru August 14th. Bring those unfinished projects or choose a new pattern to work on. This is a great time to get to know your fellow quilters and (maybe) finish a few projects before fall. Additional patterns and kits will be available for purchase. We have a spacious work area and ironing stations.

Visiting from out of town? We have several sewing machines available for your use.

Bring a sack lunch. We will provide beverages and snacks.

Quilter's Summer Season Pass: $50.00

Single Day Quilter's Pass: $10.00
One Tuesday or Thursday 10am-3pm.

2008 Blankety Blank Table Runner Challenge

Orchard’s Edge Quilting and A Common Thread Designs in conjunction with The Bayfield Quilt Company Present the 2008 Blankety Blank Table Runner Challenge (using Blank Textile Quilting Fabric)

Rules: There is a cost of $15.00 for each challenge packet. You may purchase packets at Orchard’s Edge Quilting or The Bayfield Quilt Company
The Challenge is to complete a table runner (design of your choice) which measures at least 12" x 30", but not more than 25" x 96".
You must use each of the four Blank Textile Quilting fabrics provided—but how much of each used is up to you.
You may add up to four more fabrics of your own choice.
Table runners may be hand or machine quilted. Edges must be finished. A muslin label with your name and address clearly written on it must be attached to the back of your table runner.
Completed table runners may be submitted to Orchard’s Edge Quilting or The Bayfield Quilt Company by August 25, 2008. Registration form must be completed and submitted with your entry.
Table runners will be displayed at The Bayfield Quilt Company, Bayfield, WI from Friday, August 29th, thru Sunday October 5th.

Everyone entering a completed Blankety Blank Table Runner Challenge for display will be entered in a general drawing for prizes:

A people’s Choice Award will also be presented:

Table runners must be picked up from Bayfield Quilt Company between October 6th through October 11th.
If you are unable to pick up your table runner, it will be shipped back to you at your expense.
